'Not Going Well' - Ko Woo-seok Hits Second Home Run in Minor League

Ko Woo-seok (25), struggling in the minor leagues, recorded his second home run allowed.

On the 2nd (Korean time), Ko appeared as a relief pitcher in the home game against the Triple-A Charlotte Knights, affiliated with the Chicago White Sox, at 121 Financial Ballpark in Jacksonville, Florida. He allowed one home run, four hits, one walk, and two strikeouts in two innings, giving up two runs.

Traded from the San Diego Padres to the Miami Marlins this season, Ko is now with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, Miami's Triple-A team. His season ERA rose from 3.00 to 3.60 after this outing.

Entering the game as the third pitcher in the bottom of the 7th with the team trailing 2-4, Ko allowed a two-run home run to Wilmer Difo with one out and a runner on first base.

This was Ko's second home run allowed in the minor leagues, with the first being against the Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals affiliate) on the 23rd of last month.

Despite being shaken, Ko allowed consecutive hits, putting him in a 2-out, 1st and 2nd base situation but managed to strike out Bryan Ramos to end the inning.

Ko also pitched in the 8th inning, allowing one hit but successfully stopping a steal attempt with two outs, completing his two innings of work.먹튀검증사이트
